Linda Shafter Raised in South Florida, Linda has been in the hospitality industry for almost 10 years. After graduating The University of Hartford in CT, she moved back to Boca Raton to start her career. Linda worked at the Boca Raton Resort & Club for 4 years, learning the skills of the Convention Service Department. After learning that the Diplomat Country Club and Spa was set to open, Linda decided to move to Hollywood and be part of the opening team for this new Country Club. She was responsible for the Catering Department as well as preparing new proposals and putting new procedures into place. Once the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa was set to open, Linda moved to the Westin Diplomat Hotel and was once again part of the opening team. She received an award from Starwood Resorts and Hotels as being one of the Top 10 North America Catering Sales Managers. Linda also worked closely with many companies organizing their events, including Catholic Health Services, Southern Wine and Spirits, Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, Memorial Regional Hospital. WIZO, and JAFCO. She too has coordinated hundreds of Weddings of many different cultures (e.g. Kosher, Indian),and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. After many years of being in the Catering industry, Linda decided that starting her own event planning company was her true passion.
