Martina Comey Martina has been in the hospitality industry for many years. Born in Sweden and fluent in English, German and Swedish she first attended Alpina Hotel Management School in Switzerland. After school, she was given a great opportunity - as one of seven students selected for work in the U.S. at The Sheraton in Birmingham, AL. Martina decided to move to the West Coast and started working for the Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. After a few years she was offered a great opportunity to further her career at the Sheraton Boston. Martina then moved to Connecticut where she continued her career with Starwood Hotels working for the Westin Stamford. Staying with Starwood Hotels, Martina continued in the Catering and Sales Department at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa / Diplomat Country Club and Spa. She was responsible for social and corporate events including Johnson & Wales, Comcast, Chamber of Commerce of Hollywood, KOS Pharmaceuticals, and Temple Netive Ezra. She has worked on hundreds of Weddings of many different cultures (e.g. Kosher, Indian), Bar / Bat Mitzvah’s and other Social Affairs. Martina was also featured on the TV show "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?" She and her husband Charles are raising their son Niklas and daughter Emma.
